But what if you *are* perfect for him and you never sing him the song? 30 years from now I doubt that you'd regret having sung the song, but you might really regret it if you didn't and always wished you had. I've gone out on that limb before and 'said the words' that needed to be said, and yes, it ended in moderate disaster, but you know what? I still don't regret doing it. If it was never going to work, then I just cut about a year off of the inevitable process - - a year I can spend doing something more productive. Please reconsider it a little? Awesome. Except i don't play much as far as instrument. I am a vocalist and chanteuse only i must say. I have played and continue to jam here and there on the Djembe. So, i have a kin sense of timing and rhythm in a percussive sense rather. I am amazed to hear from someone already. Just did that on the fly this morning.

P.S: Since i have had the chance to get a Synth-player friend of mine record this one tune and a few other alike to CD, i will try to find it at some point and post. I am working on a new album in the studio-the basis of my writing inspiration, bass-guitar grooves in the head-percussive rhythm section in mind and flow with the lyrics put down on paper.

Go for your gig and do sing that song of yours...Perhaps you can think of someone else you have been or want to be passionate about.

very deep...made me realize that maybe I won't be singing this song I just wrote in public cause the guy I wrote this about might be thinking the same way that you do. lol... and no one wants to be not good enough for someone. Very good blog though.. I can't wait to hear this set to music
