I have this dream
of a mountain log cabin
snuggled with my wife
next to a crackling fire
thats my hearts desire

I hope i'm not to old
and
this dream to bold

maybe my life
is to much of a bungle
and
I'm condemned to live
in this concrete jungle

I dont frown
or get down

I still have a good life
without to much strife
and
the LORD has been with us
thru all these years
all the fears
and
all the tears
but
I cant stop thinking
about that dream
as silly as it might seem

I know it's not much
but
it seems so far outta touch

it's only a dream
and
many dreams
do come true

but
this is my dream
I hope
you still have them too

close to a stream
with fresh air
and
the smell of pine

I know it's silly
this dream of mine

but

I still hope and pray
that maybe one day
it might happen

I've seen prayers answered
and
dreams come true
and
I hope you do too
